For more than 45 years, Wyatt & Co Chartered Accountants have been providing professional accountancy services to businesses, individuals, company's, charities and churches in and around Leeds and also further afield. Whether you're an established local business, a newly created company or a start-up charity, we can help.
We are a third generation family run practice based in Garforth Leeds offering and we offer a wide range of services.
We provide specialist services for charities, churches and not for profit organisations. We draw upon a breadth of experience working in the charities sector to deliver independent examinations, outsourcing and specialist advice.
Meet The Team
Nigel
Director
With a degree in economics and accountancy, Nigel Wyatt trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in Leeds, one of the most prestigious accountancy practices in the world.
Since that time he has been providing accountancy and business services to owner managed companies with a turnover of up to £25 million.
In recent years he has also been appointed finance officer to a number of charities and not for profit companies, providing support to the directors in maintaining their finance procedures and governance responsibilities. These organisations include Sure Start programmes, children's centres and the provider of domestic abuse support services.
Nigel is also a third generation chartered accountant, following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps.
Tim
Manager and Charity Services Lead
With a degree in Accountancy and Finance, Tim Wyatt trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with RSM in Leeds, one of UK's top 10 Accountancy Firms.

After working closely with a wide range of clients in different industries of varying sizes, Tim has many years of experience providing accountancy services for businesses, company's, individuals and charities.
​
Tim also has a specialism in providing accountancy services for charities and not for profit organisations.
Tim is a fourth-generation chartered accountant, following in the family heritage.

Lizzy
Charity Accountant
Lizzy Joined the team in 2021 following graduating with a master's in Charity Accounting and Financial Management from Bayes Business School (City University, London). During her studies, she received her PgDip in Charity Accounting accredited by the ICAEW.
Lizzy's dissertation looked at advocating for small charities in the development of the Charities SORP. She has a passion for supporting small charities with their finances and currently sits on the board of the Small International Development Charity Network (SIDCN).
Lizzy also works part-time as the Finance Manager of Gateway Church, where she has been part of the team since 2008. Prior to this, she worked in a range of children's charities giving her a wide understanding of the charity sector.

Wilfred Wyatt
Founder
Wilfred Wyatt was the founder of Wyatt & Co over 25 years ago. After working alongside his farther as an accountant He became a senior partner at what was the accountancy firm Neville Russel, Wilfred established Wyatt & Co in Leeds on the values and principles that are core to our practise today. As well as his many years of accounting experience Wilfred served as chair of trustees at St Georges Crypt Leeds and gave time to serving his local church in roles. Wyatt & Co  is part of Wilfred’s legacy following his passing in February 2021.
